Who makes Poemx possible

Poemx exists because there are businesses and institutions that decided visual poetry should occupy the street. These are they, and this is what moves them.

Fundación Kutxabank

Main sponsor

Fundación Kutxabank

We backed Poemx when it was still an idea. We have been its main sponsor since the first edition, in 2024, and we have watched it grow until it feels a little like ours. For us, culture is an expressive and social phenomenon: something made with others and in common. Poemx takes it to the place where that relationship actually happens, which is the street. Three editions on, we remain convinced that bringing visual poetry into public space is one of the most direct ways to reach people who were not going to look for it.

Ictinos

Partner

Ictino

At Ictino we understand architecture as a meeting point between the need to inhabit, technique and artistic expression. That is why our commitment to Poemx came naturally: visual poetry and architecture share the ability to transform how we look and to give new meanings to the space we share. We believe culture is not an ornament but a collective necessity: it helps us understand our time and imagine other possibilities. Working with Poemx is our way of making art part of the life of Córdoba.

Salud Ópticos

Patron

Salud Ópticos Colón

At Salud Ópticos we have spent years caring for our neighbours’ eyesight from the plaza de Colón, which is a way of caring for how they look at things. We are interested in art — the other trade that works with the gaze — and we recognise ourselves in Poemx. A festival that takes poetry into the street invites us to pause and look again at what is in front of us: much the same as what we do every day. Supporting it is a way of giving something back to the city that sustains us.

Fundación Xul

Patron

Fundación XUL

At Fundación XUL we believe firmly in culture as an essential driver of social and economic transformation. We are therefore proud to sponsor the visual poetry festival Poemx. Our involvement comes from a deep commitment to the historic centre of Córdoba, a place that needs to generate new positive dynamics to help counter the effects of gentrification. By backing a project that takes art into public space, we support giving the streets back to people. We believe inspiring initiatives like Poemx are essential to foster coexistence and make possible a much more alive, cohesive and sustainable community.
