The work reinterprets Goya’s Fight with Cudgels to set the tragedy of the 19th century against confrontation on social media. By swapping the clubs for digital iconography, the piece shows that the weapons change but the fratricidal impulse remains.

The mud is no longer earth: it is the feed, the algorithm and outrage on a loop. A sterile duel in which every reaction feeds the system and sinks us a little deeper into the same trench. Faceless, voiceless, but with the same urge to push the other into the mud.
