The work I submit here belongs to the series Human Reconfiguration. Its title, Check, refers to interaction as compliance rather than desire. The piece questions the way we relate today: bodies become circuits and bonds become networks that oscillate between the real and the virtual, verging on an automation that fails to detect the deterioration or malformation they generate, and its consequences. Gazes, inherent to communication, are cancelled out, and with them we forget essential forms of human connection.
