In their words
How does the continuous use of new information and communication technologies affect us, and what impact does photography have on society and on contemporary art? Lacking answers, I turn to the creative exercise of breaking down small digital photographs into thousands of words made of tens of thousands of symbols. In this language, new to me, words and images flow into each other within the plane of the abstract.
About Leonardo Martín Blanc
Leonardo Blanc holds a master’s degree in Anthropology and a degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences, and is a physical education teacher and aeronautical technician. He made his first works of contemporary art in 2011. In May 2014 he was in a traffic accident that left him unable to walk for more than three years, an event that affected his life and his creative processes.
